On November 13, netizens got hold of an anti-fan account that used to harass Song by allegedly undertaking illicit activities and writing demeaning remarks against him. According to a report by iMBC, the Japanese anti-fan leaked private information of Song, including his images.

The report further claimed that many followers of the actor even took screenshots of the perpetrator's account and called out the defamatory content it posted. As per insiders sources, this anti-fan was obsessed about invading Song's privacy. It even filmed the actor's routine activities and posted images of his closed ones without blurring them on social media.

This was being carried out until close to his death. Sensing that the account was grabbing eyeballs, the Japanese netizen immediately deleted the particular page.
