A pair of cheeky holidaymakers made a giant coat with super-size pockets so they could wear their entire 30 kilos of luggage - avoiding £300 in additional Ryanair fees. Joshua Pieters and his pal Archie Manners set themselves the goal of wearing all their luggage to see if they'd be able to avoid the usual added costs for their trip to Portugal from Luton airport in June. The 30-year-old had a coat specifically tailored with 'heavy duty' pockets so he could stuff them full of his entire suitcase including a portable kettle and even a portable sofa.

Meanwhile Archie Manners, 31, donned a tent so they even had their 'accommodation' with already them. (Image: Kennedy News/Josh & Archie) Youtuber Joshua's coat managed to carry an array of holiday essentials including teabags, shorts and underwear, a beach ball, a chewable toothbrush, a spork, shampoo, and conditioner. Despite a few funny looks, footage shows how the content creators miraculously managed to make it through security before boarding the plane before happily landing in Portugal.

Joshua claims they saved £59.99 on luggage costs each way as well as the surcharge of £120 there and back for exceeding the usual baggage weight limit. The video has already racked up more than 11,000 views in less than 24 hours [posted on 7th Aug].

Joshua, from London, said: "It's just a question everyone's always had like 'could I just wear my luggage?' or 'could I just stuff my pockets with my luggage instead of paying for a suitcase?' .
