Authorities have now issued a warning about how you can enjoy the park, home to landmarks such as Pen Y Fan, in the best way possible. Those new to the park are urged to be "adventure smart" from the get go, following some tourists' not so satisfying experiences.
Two young tourists, who were drawn to the park by Instagram photos, told the BBC that their trip had not lived up to expectations.
