But as wonderful as a send-off as it was for one of the greatest actors to ever play the Dark Knight , they noticed something was off: the Joker Conroy’s animated Batman was brawling with didn’t sound like Mark Hamill.

Because it wasn’t, despite Warner having confirmed that Hamill would reprise his role in the film alongside Conroy, even though he had largely retired from voicing the Joker in recent years. Over the weekend users on the DC Animated Universe subreddit noticed that digital copies of Crisis on Infinite Earths Part Three had received a small update, noticing that the scene set in the Batman: The Animated Series universe was now updated to include “new” VO of Hamill as the Joker.
