The glamour quotient was predictably high all-round, and yet one of the core cast members stood out immediately. Vogue Williams was, at that time, a construction worker-turned DJ/model, and the girlfriend of Dublin street artist Maser. “She reminds me of Bill Clinton as everyone loves her,” Stephen McCormack, the show’s executive producer, told me at the time.

And he wasn’t wrong. At the Dublin hotel where we met all those years ago, tourists openly gawped at her. A man lingered nearby, mesmerised.
