As December comes to a close, so does 2024. For years, Vogue Singapore has been pushing the boundaries of the fashion landscape through innovation and compelling storytelling. With a focus on representation and giving a voice to the unheard, we’ve been channelling our efforts into actively growing our community; carving out space for rising creative names and regional talent to be spotlighted .
The past year was no different. In sum, 2024 was a year of breakthroughs. We started with a string of sensational cover stars; from renowned cosplayer Hakken on the cover of our ‘Duality’ issue in March to the year’s biggest pop star, Charli XCX, fronting our ‘Pop’ issue in cosmic style.
Our later months took on a more introspective turn, like when we explored the world of slow travel in our ‘Escape’ issue via a series of comprehensive city guides of creative destinations. Or dedicated our efforts in spotlighting four breakout models from Southeast Asia—in line with our anniversary issue, titled ‘Community’ . To push the envelope further, we launched Vogue Dialogues, a new video series dedicated to female writers, poets and literary voices driving change for good through groundbreaking work.
We also released our inaugural podcast series, Vogue Uncut . Hosted by the editors of Vogue Singapore, each episode discusses the lived experiences of modern Asian women—through diverse, unvarnished narratives that would uplift, inform and inspire. Later in the year, Next in.
