In a conversation with Farah Khan , Vivek made a remark about the film industry and the statement still haunts him. .' In an interview with entertainment news portal India TV, Vivek Oberoi was again asked about the plastic remark that he made years ago. The actor said that it is not something to say out loud.

He said that some people become plastic because they fear that people would judge their real side, while some people might lack the strength to be real. Vivek said that others become plastic because they do not know any other way to survive.
