Visa has introduced the Visa Airport Companion (VAC), a premium service designed to offer eligible Visa cardholders in Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (CEMEA) a smoother, more enjoyable travel experience. In Egypt’s capital, Cairo, Visa (NYSE: V), a frontrunner in digital payment solutions, has launched the VAC app, an all-encompassing digital tool aimed at enhancing lounge access for Visa cardholders.
Developed in collaboration with DragonPass, a prominent global travel and lifestyle service provider, this app replaces existing lounge access programs as of October 1, 2024. With this new app, eligible cardholders gain access to over 1,200 lounges in more than 140 countries. The app includes detailed lounge information, real-time eligibility verification, and visit tracking to streamline access.
Additionally, it allows offline functionality and supports biometric logins for added convenience. Looking forward, the VAC app aims to expand its features to include more Visa benefits for cardholders, such as fast-track services, dining privileges, and spa access, elevating the overall airport experience. Eligible Visa cardholders in Egypt can now download the Visa Airport Companion app on both iOS and Android, ensuring uninterrupted lounge benefits while traveling.
