Virgin Media Television has announced a brand-new streaming platform and a schedule of fresh content for autumn that viewers can enjoy starting in September. The Virgin Media Play app will stream some of the most talked-about TV shows, unmissable sporting events, and reality boxsets. The TV giant has revealed that the brand-new app, which can be downloaded from September 2, will open a world of entertainment for viewers.

The new app is understood to be available on phones, tablets, and smart TVs. Virgin states that it will be the home for the most sought-after content, both at home and abroad. New exclusive drops include the drama series ‘The Arrangement’, and reality shows such as ‘Below Deck Mediterranean’, ‘Million Dollar Listing’, ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’, and ‘Vanderpump Rules’.

Additionally, Virgin has released a host of new programmes and documentaries for Autumn, with the highly anticipated Virgin Media Original Series ‘Dead and Buried’ making its TV debut on September 2. The series, filmed in Ireland, will then be available on Virgin Media Play after the first episode. Fans of Classic Hits presenter and TV host Lucy Kennedy will be delighted to hear that the Sandycove native is returning to Virgin on September 30 with the all-new ‘Real Life with Lucy’, which will take an unfiltered look at life for young people in Ireland, including transgenderism, addiction and the increase in sophisticated online scams.
