VinFast PH opens 3 dealerships in one day
WITH July 16 identified as an auspicious date for grand openings, VinFast Philippines made a significant push and opened all three of its initial dealerships in one day: VinFast EDSA (EV Solutions) in Mandaluyong City, VinFast Alabang (Autoflare Inc.) in Muntinlupa City, and VinFast Aseana (K1 Prestige Bay Motors Inc.) in Parañaque City.VinFast was launched in the Philippines in June and its plan is to open six dealerships by the end of 2024.The VinFast showrooms boast a modern and luxurious design with a dominant blue color that reflects the sophistication and class of the VinFast brand. The company has pioneered a battery subscription policy to help reduce initial ownership costs and eliminate concerns about battery life and potential repair or replacement expenses.The VF 5, VF 7, and VF 9 electric SUV models are now on display at all VinFast dealers. VF 5 electric SUVAmong the VinFast vehicles on display, only the VF 5 electric SUV is currently available for purchase.The VF 5 is the brand's A-segment battery electric hatchback that measures 3,967 mm (length) x 1,723mm (width) x 1,578mm (height) with a trunk capacity of 900 liters with the rear seats down. Ideal for maneuvering in the city, the VF 5 has a turning radius of 5.5 meters and ground clearance of 168mm. Its electric motor produces 100 kilowatts and 135 Newton-meters of torque, and it can travel for approximately 326 kilometers (km) on a fully charged 38.4-kW-hour battery. Its fast-charge capability enables charging from 10 to 70 percent in about 30 minutes.Standard features include auto on/off headlamps with a follow-me-home feature and power-adjust rearview mirrors with LED turning signals. Safety features include rear cross-traffic alert, blind spot detection, door opening warning, rear parking assist, and a rearview camera with guidelines. Inside, it has an 8-inch infotainment display and a 7-inch driver information center display.The VF 5 is available in six colors: Iris Berry, Mint Green, Electric Blue, Infinity Blanc, Crimson Red, and Zenith Grey.It is priced at P1.191 million for the complete package, or the reduced price of P992,000, which requires a monthly battery subscription fee.
