As expected, the Minnesota Vikings have made a couple of roster moves in advance of the team's game on Sunday at the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Vikings on Saturday officially downgraded rookie edge rusher Gabriel Murphy from questionable to out, which isn't a surprise. The undrafted summer standout has been on injured reserve all season and just returned to practice this week in a limited fashion.

With DePaoala on injured reserve and out at least for the next four games, McQuaide will be elevated a few more times in the coming weeks.

McQuaide and fellow specialist John Parker Romo , the kicker replacing the injured Will Reichard, will both make their Vikings debuts on Sunday. The fact that the Vikings didn't elevate anyone may be good news for starting inside linebackers Blake Cashman and Ivan Pace Jr., who are both considered questionable but practiced fully on Friday and may be on track to play on Sunday.
