Bollywood actor Vidya Balan recently shared her experiences on house hunting at the 22nd Credai Natcon event in Sydney. Addressing an audience of over 1,100 real estate developers, the actor shared her life lessons, focusing on the connection between luck and finding a home, along with her journey in the film industry. The ‘Kismet Connection’ in House Hunting Vidya Balan believes that finding the perfect home is a matter of destiny.

Speaking to the audience, she said, "You walk into a house and you know it’s yours." She recounted her experience of house hunting with her mother about 15 years ago, when she was looking for a place closer to her work in Bandra or Juhu to avoid the long commute to Chembur. Despite visiting several houses, one property stood out, but it was beyond their budget.

Balan shared that her mother encouraged her to focus on paying the EMI, and they eventually bought the house. "When I walked into the house, it felt like my home," Balan said, reflecting on how the purchase seemed like fate. Settling into a Rented Home in Mumbai Currently, Vidya Balan and her husband, Siddharth Roy Kapur , live in a rented house on Carter Road, a prime location in Mumbai.

Describing the experience, she said, "We looked at around 25 houses but couldn’t agree on any." Despite being someone who had always lived in her own home, Balan found herself contemplating the idea of renting for the first time. The couple eventually came across a house they both liked, even thoug.
