Veteran film director Sugathapala Senarath Yapa has passed away after an illness. Born on November 10, 1935, in Akuressa, Yapa was 89 years old at the time of his death. He renowned for his work as the creative director behind numerous award-winning films, including “Hanthane Kathawa,” “Pembara Madhu,” “Induta Mal Mitak,” and “Piya saha daruwo.
