Vernon Kay hit back at fans criticising his outfit as he headed to watch Carlos Alcaraz win the Wimbledon men's final. A host of famous faces joined the Princess of Wales and her daughter Princess Charlotte in the Centre Court stands to watch as Alcaraz overcame Novak Djokovic. The BBC Radio 2 star joined the likes of Julia Roberts, Zendaya and Benedict Cumberbatch at SW19 as he watched with his eldest daughter Phoebe.
The father and daughter saw Alcaraz overcome Djokovic for the second year as he defeated the Serbian in just two hours and 27 minutes. However it was the 50-year-old's outfit choice that had fans talking after the match after he uploaded a picture to Instagram. Posing outside Centre Court, Vernon wrote: "@wimbledon @emirates The final was so good!! C’mon.

One said: "Is that a padded t-shirt?," followed by a laughing face emoji as well as a tennis and bicep emoji. Vernon addressed his navy blue t-shirt outfit choice on this morning's BBC Radio 2 show and admitted that a "lot of people did comment" on his attire.
