Samantha Ruth Prabhu recently opened up about her challenging experience on the set of Citadel: Honey Bunny , the latest Indian installment of the Citadel franchise from Russo Brothers, led by director duo Raj & DK. Samantha, alongside co-star Varun Dhawan, filmed intense scenes despite her ongoing health struggles due to myositis. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter India, Varun Dhawan recalled moments that highlighted Samantha’s commitment and resilience.

Recalling one instance, Varun said he saw Samantha suddenly close her eyes, mentioning she was having "one of those days." They continued shooting for a couple more hours, but eventually, an oxygen tank was brought on set for her to catch her breath. After Varun had completed his part of the shot, he noticed her collapse mid-frame. "So I have run past the camera and she is still in the frame and she just collapsed. I caught her and I went to Raj and said, 'Pack up', and they were like, 'Calm down.

' I just didn't know what to do,' he said.
