1 2 Vadodara: A city lad bagged All India Rank (AIR) 16 as the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) declared results of the CS executive and professional examination on Sunday. At the same time, 16 students have cleared their CS final level from the city. Deep Agrawal has bagged AIR 16 in the CS executive programme.

“I will now be preparing for the CS professional examinations. My plan is to get good exposure from a CS firm,” Agrawal, who has already completed his BCom from M S University’s Faculty of Commerce in 2020 and LLB from MSU’s Faculty of Law this year, told TOI. Agrawal, who is already a chartered accountant and works as a manager (finance) in a Mumbai-based firm, is the son of Mahesh Agrawal, who runs a grocery store in Vadodara, while his mother Manisha is a homemaker.

He said the prime reason behind scoring well in the CS executive is constant revision of the syllabus. “I had revised the executive syllabus six times before the examination,” he said. Overall, the pass percentage in Vadodara city in the professional programme examination (syllabus 2017) stood at 34.

55% in module-I, 25.53% in module-II, and 33.33% in module-III.

Similarly, in the professional programme examination (syllabus 2022), 26.19% of candidates passed in Group-1 and 27.27% in Group-2.

In the executive programme examination (syllabus 2017), 28.29% of candidates passed in module-I and 31.29% in module-II.
