A real estate investor in Milwaukee, in the U.S. state of Wisconsin , Joseph Nantomah, who claims to be an award-winning expert in his field, is facing serious allegations of defrauding clients of more than $1 million.

The accusations, made by over a dozen investors, suggest that Nantomah used their money to fund his personal luxuries rather than fulfil his promises of profitable property flips. Court documents reveal that Nantomah allegedly enticed potential investors through social media, presentations, and seminars, promising significant returns on their investments. However, many investors claim that these promises were hollow, with some never receiving any returns at all.

The couple, who wish to remain anonymous, explained that the money represented years of savings. They were promised an initial return by July 2023, but when the time came, they received nothing.

Despite repeated attempts to contact Nantomah , they were only reimbursed $20,000 — far less than what they were owed. The couple’s story is just one of many. OVB Law & Consulting , the firm representing the couple and nine other clients, has filed civil lawsuits against Nantomah.

“He blocks them or stops contacting them,” explained attorney Emil Ovbiagele, describing a pattern of beha.
