Internationally acclaimed hip hop superstar Travis Scott is bringing his sell out tour down under after achieving record sales overseas. The US rapper will perform three shows of his hugely successful ‘Circus Maximus World Tour’ in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane from October 17. The shows will be held at Allianz Stadium on the 17th, Marvel Stadium on the 22nd and Suncorp Stadium on the 26th.

The Australian leg of the tour will kick start after his newly announced performances through South America, including Santiago, Buenos Aires and Rio de Janeiro and will come before a final show in Auckland, New Zealand. The artist took to social media on Tuesday morning to reveal the additional leg to his more than 56 million fans on Instagram. “South America and Australia, what are we doing? I’ve been wanting to bring an actual tour there forever.

Now let’s get it,” he wrote. Ecstatic fans were quick to share their excitement, with one Instagram user revealing he “used to pray” he would one day see Scott perform in Australia. Others said they have been waiting their “whole life for this” moment.

“Been waiting on Melbourne for so long I’m coming,” another said. But other Aussie fans were left disappointed the star would only be visiting three cities, with some questioning why Perth and Adelaide would miss out. “Typical Perth gets left out,” one person said.

Presale tickets will be available on Monday before general sales begin on August 2. Scott is currently.
