Saturday, September 21, 2024 Guam students now have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the rich history and cultural heritage of the United States through the second annual America’s Field Trip contest. Organized by America250 , in collaboration with corporate sponsor BNY Mellon , this contest opens the doors to an unforgettable learning experience. The initiative is set to run from September 16, 2024 , through April 16, 2025 , offering students from grades 3 to 12 the chance to win a field trip to iconic U.

S. landmarks. These include sites like Mount Rushmore , Yellowstone National Park , and the National Air and Space Museum .

America250 is a nonpartisan entity appointed by Congress to plan and execute the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence —the U.S. Semiquincentennial —and this competition serves as part of the broader initiative to inspire students across the nation to reflect on what America means to them.
