In a video posted to Instagram yesterday, Andre said he had been travelling on planes for 25 hours, from New York to Los Angeles and then Melbourne to Brisbane, where he was filming for work. "So, this is a message for all Black, brown, and Indigenous people travelling through Melbourne today, especially if you're travelling through Qantas International by Terminal 2: Please be careful.

" The actor and comedian said he was looking to engage a discrimination lawyer over the incident and was also seeking information about what proportion of passengers pulled aside for extra checks by security at the airport were white and people of colour. Andre, who hosts The Eric Andre Show, said next time he was in Australia, he did not want to travel through Melbourne Airport alone as he did not feel safe there.
