Prayagraj: Uttar Pradesh Rajarshi Tandon Open University will teach students the importance and grandeur of Maha Kumbh to be held in city. The Open University will start a new course on Maha Kumb set to be conducted from January 2025. The university is preparing for this six-month certificate course.
Information related to the traditional royal bath of saints and sages is being included in this certificate course on Maha Kumbh 2025. Apart from this, the festivals organised during Maha Kumbh and their features will also be included. The history of Maha Kumbh will be mentioned in the course.
Additionally, the young generation will be able to study the benefits and importance of Kumbh and Kalpavas in this course. Earlier, the lone Open University started an awareness course on Kumbh in 2019. In this, the features of Kumbh, as well as the subject of yoga, were included.
The objective of this course is to make the new generation aware of Kumbh. "A six-month certificate course on Kumbh 2024 will be started from the January session. It is also being decided what will be taught to the students in the course," said Vice Chancellor UPRTOU , Prof.
