In a LinkedIn post, Iheoma compared the N5k prize to today's exchange rate, saying it was equivalent to one shawarma and a bottle of malt. Iheoma, who finished with a first class in English language and literature, recalled the remarks from friends and family over the kind of prize she got for her academic feat, adding that some of them got to her.
