A free event will be held at the University of Bolton to help check people’s health needs. The health mela will take place in October and offer free health assessments such as height, weight and Body Mass Index, blood pressure check-ups and nutrition requirements. It will take place in the Social Learning Zone in Chancellor’s Mall, University Way, and was organised by the University of Bolton, Greater Manchester with NHS Bolton Foundation Trust.

Trust deputy medical director and consultant physician Dr Harni Bharaj said: “We’re really looking forward to welcoming people to the University of Bolton, Greater Manchester and opening up the conversation about wellness.
