Union J's Jaymi Hensley has been cleared by police after his fiancé's fatal fall from a hotel window, according to reports. The singer, 34, who shot to fame on the X Factor in 2012, was heartbroken when stylist, Olly Marmon, 33, fell to his death at the three-star Hind Hotel in Wellingborough, Northampton just weeks before their wedding. At first, detectives launched a murder investigation to establish the full circumstances of the death and arrested a 34-year-old man from Rushden, Northants on suspicion of murder.

However, he was later released without charge. Now, detectives confirmed that they are no longer treating the case as murder following the results of a forensic post-mortem. A forensic postmortem examination was carried out on Tuesday, August 13 at Leicester Royal Infirmary.

The preliminary results of the investigation revealed the cause of death to be injuries sustained from a fall from height. Olly tragically died in the early hours of Monday morning after falling from a third-floor window at a hotel in Northampton. Emergency services rushed to the scene after his fall around 11:30pm on Sunday night.

He was pronounced dead at the scene at 12:30am.
