Tweet Facebook Mail Police have charged an unemployed man from Parramatta, in Sydney's west, after seizing multiple luxury vehicles and watches estimated to be worth half a million dollars. An investigation into the "unexplained wealth" of people with alleged links to organised crime networks was launched by crime squad detectives in May, with the help of the NSW Crime Commission. Detectives executed a search warrant at a Parramatta unit in July, seized a Lamborghini Huracan, a Harley Davidson V-Rod and two Rolex watches.

Last Friday, detectives charged a 39-year-old man – who has been receiving unemployment benefits since 2019 – with charges relating to dishonest possession of the items.

The man is set to appear in Parramatta Local Court in October. The police investigations are continuing..
