In fact, just pack your bags and get up onto the A19 to find the UK's 'coolest' town.

With miles and miles of sandy golden beaches and crystal-clear water, this hidden gem is bound to hit people's radar soon and become the next British hotspot. Located just eight miles outside of Newcastle, Tynemouth, in Tyne and Wear, was recently listed in Time Out's top 20 best places to live by the sea. It also made the publication's 'coolest, prettiest and quirkiest' seaside towns in the country.
