The first significant snowfall of the season arrived in parts of the country earlier today after the Met Office issued a yellow weather warning for snow and ice from 4pm on Sunday. Tonight, the snow has shifted south with areas across East Midlands, Yorkshire and Wales likely to see the highest amounts.
