As part of its Tourism Strategy 2031 , the UAE aims to strengthen its position as a global tourism hub by attracting Dh100 billion in tourism investments and welcoming 40 million hotel guests annually . This initiative aligns with the country’s vision of diversifying its economy and positioning itself as a world leader in hospitality, leisure, and sustainable tourism.

According to the 2024 Travel & Tourism Development Index (TTDI) published by the World Economic Forum , the UAE ranked first in the Middle East and 18th globally , moving up seven places compared to the previous edition. This impressive ranking reflects the country’s continuous efforts to enhance infrastructure, improve travel services, and provide world-class tourism experiences.
