On Thursday, September 5th, 2024, the University of Aruba (UA) honored 13 students and 3 student organizations for their excellence in their theses, along with the ambassadors of UA. The intention of the night’s event was to take a moment to celebrate and honor students who have excelled in their studies. Besides this, we honored our students who have demonstrated a professional attitude and leadership in our community, helping other students and serving as role models for others and the community in general.
We will now provide a brief description of each person. We do this because we believe it’s important to explain why they deserve this award. Thanks to our sponsors SETAR and Gianni’s Group, who made this possible, and also to the entire staff and personnel who worked to create a beautiful and pleasant environment.
Student Ambassadors play a vital role in our community. They represent UA to prospective students and their families, guide campus tours and university events, and serve as mentors to their peers. They are also actively involved in research and community service projects.
SISSTEM Kevin A. Orozco Mendoza has shown exceptional growth as an independent thinker, consistently pushing the limits of his knowledge and demonstrating a strong commitment to community through his voluntary work. His maturity, perseverance, and positive attitude make him a standout candidate for recognition, embodying the true spirit of academic and community engagement.
