Directed by Morleigh Steinberg and the band’s founding guitarist The Edge, V-U2 chronicles the Irish megaband’s “U2:UV Achtung Baby Live at Sphere” residency from September 2023 through March. It is the first film shot entirely with Big Sky’s Sphere Entertainment’s ultrahigh-resolution camera system. “The goal was to give the immersive moviegoers as close to the live U2:UV concert experience as possible — and then some,” The Edge said.
