Two candidates for the Lake Havasu Unified School Board are facing questions about past criminal records. One is seeking a seat, while the other hopes to retain his position for a second term. Lake Havasu Unified School Board member Kyle Neidermann was previously cited for marijuana possession in 2014 and arrested on hit-and-run charges in 2017 and misdemeanor DUI charges in 2018.
He has served on the board since 2020 and now works as a hospice chaplain and bereavement counselor. Neidermann also volunteers with community service organizations supporting Havasu’s less fortunate. David Rose Fourteen years ago, former Kentucky resident David Rose was sought by Louisville authorities as well as the U.
S. Marshall’s Office. Described at that time as a thief and possible con-artist, Rose says he ultimately paid the price -- and that experience has changed his life for the better.
“The lost and broken person I was as a young man was a different person from the forgiven, redeemed, and person of purpose I am thankful to be today,” Rose said. “Christ has changed me, and the purpose I’ve found.” Rose was 28 years old in 2011, with a criminal history that reportedly included dozens of arrests on charges related to theft and writing bad checks.
Rose opened the Metro Messenger that year -- a free news publication in Louisville. According to Kentucky authorities, his girlfriend at the time reportedly paid for nearly every aspect of the publication, including telephones and payr.
