" Dr Priyank Jawale, district manager for ‘108' ambulance services , said, "An announcement was made by the police regarding a man collapsing during a procession on Wednesday. Our ambulance, which was stationed at Vijay Talkies, rushed to the person, later identified as Dhoke. Dr Saurabh Barukle, one of our staffers, checked the patient and found him without any pulse.

He immediately initiated the CPR, but to no avail. We also tried to defibrillate (controlled electric shock) the patient on the way to the Sassoon hospital. Unfortunately, he could not be revived.

" Health experts said prolonged exposure to high sound levels, above 80 dB, during festive processions could cause significant harm to people's health. ".
