Pune: Two people lost Rs 6.3 lakh collectively in separate online share trading frauds between May and Nov. A 62-year-old woman from Kothrud filed a complaint with the Kothrud police stating that cybercrooks cheated her of Rs 4.

75 lakh between June and Aug, while a Kondhwa resident was duped of Rs 1.55 lakh in a similar fraud between May and Nov. An officer from the Kothrud police said according to the complainant, in June, she joined a group of investors on a mobile messenger app through a social media platform.
