A new ranking by Yelp dives into data surrounding the most photographed restaurants across the United States —and Chicago appears in the top 15 twice. We are, of course, not surprised: We are home to some pretty amazing restaurants that double as beautiful, photogenic backdrops . To come up with its ranking, Yelp identified businesses in the restaurant and food categories on the platform and then analyzed how frequently users submitted photos associated with the venues between January 1 and June 18 of this year.

The two local eateries that appear on the list are La Grande Boucherie at 431 N. Dearborn St. (No.

6 on the list) and Olio e Piú at 445 N. Dearborn St. (No.

15). Not only are the two destinations right next to each other, but they were opened by the same New York restaurant group, The Group. Clearly, folks out there know what they're doing.

When discussing La Grande Boucherie in the survey, Yelp points out that the space feels like "a Parisian dream" where "every inch of the stunning art nouveau space, from the stained glass windows to the custom mosaic floors and curved ceilings, begs to be shared." The outlet also mentions the photogenic menu filled with items that taste and look good, like the steak frites with a seared crust and herb butter. As for Olio e Piú, also an uber popular destination in New York, Yelp calls out the "rustic interiors, greenery and romantic mood lighting" when analyzing the Chicago location of the restaurant.

"Enjoy the vintage decor .
