Authorities have recovered two bodies Saturday morning during a search for a father and son who were swept away in floodwaters near Haskell. The Wagoner County Emergency Management were assisting the Muskogee County Emergency Management during a search for the two who were swept away by the waters along W. Burch Road near Haskell Friday night.

According to a post on WCEM's Facebook page, the pair were swept away while trying to rescue the daughter who was in the water trying to remove debris. WCEM was called in to to use drones and swift water teams in an attempt to rescue the two. Over 20 responders were called in from multiple counties and agencies to aid in the search.

Two bodies were discovered at 10:45 a.m. Saturday morning and notifications have been made to the family.
