TV star Kirstie Allsopp faced questions from social services for letting her 15 year old son embark on a European interrailing adventure. The presenter from Location, Location, Location, aged 52, has divided opinion over her son's trip. Now she has been left fuming after receiving a text from a social worker asking for a "conversation".
A file was reportedly opened by the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea upon receiving a "referral" concerning her son Oscar Hercules, the Mail on Sunday reported. The social worker inquired about the "safeguards" Kirstie had in place prior to Oscar's three-week European journey. The local authority also mentioned they might keep her file open "in case there was another referral and we needed to come to your house and look into this further".

Her reaction was clear: "I just felt sick absolutely sick. Then I was cross.
I was very, very cross. It was just so extraordinary." She was baffled by the situation, stating: "I was in a parallel universe where they were actually taking this seriously.
" She added: "I have broken no law and nothing about allowing my child to travel around Europe is neglectful." Her stance sparked debate online followi.
