While plotting her moves on Dragonstone, Rhaenyra Targaryen ( Emma D’Arcy ) has gradually been getting closer to her confidante Mysaria (Sonoya Mizuno), who used to be the paramour of the Queen’s husband, Daemon ( Matt Smith ). In Daemon’s absence – as he’s currently on his own side quest experiencing all sorts of hallucinations at the haunted castle Harrenhal – Rhaenyra and Mysaria have grown to respect and trust one another. In the same episode, Rhaenyra slaps Lord Bartimos Celtigar (Nicholas Jones) round the face after he gives her unsolicited advice about her role as Queen, another act that sparked praise from fans. ‘Slapping men and kissing women on the same episode?
