Wednesday, October 2, 2024 The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has announced that Caribbean Airlines and RED Air have joined the TSA PreCheck® program, expanding the list of participating airlines to nearly 100. TSA PreCheck offers an expedited security screening experience for low-risk travelers at over 200 airports across the U.S.
and its territories, including Lynden Pindling International Airport in Nassau, Bahamas. With TSA PreCheck, travelers can move through security more quickly, keeping their shoes, belts, and light jackets on, while laptops, 3-1-1 liquids, and food items can stay in their carry-on bags. Most passengers in the program wait less than 10 minutes in dedicated lanes at airports nationwide.
Eligible passengers can access TSA PreCheck when departing from a participating airport or connecting to a domestic flight after returning from international travel. U.S.
citizens, nationals, and lawful permanent residents can apply for TSA PreCheck, choosing from various enrollment providers based on cost, location, and benefits, with enrollment fees varying by provider..
