A man who came to the UK illegally ended up the “trusted gardener” at a cannabis factory in Bolton . Orgest Rizaj, 31, was caught after police raided a house on Charles Street, Farnworth , on May 15 last year and found hundreds of cannabis plants with other equipment. Bolton Crown Court heard how he had tried to get away as police raided the house.
Prosecutor Keira Shaw said: “A short while later officers were informed by a neighbour that the defendant in this case had jumped into their garden and over the wall into another neighbouring address.” But officers quickly caught up with him and arrested him.
