Vadodara: A truck got stuck when the portion of a road caved in at Navayard area of the city on Wednesday. The incident took place near Santok Chambers, where former Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) leader of opposition Ami Ravat has her office and residence. She said that the truck was moving when its wheel suddenly sank into a crater.
Ravat mentioned that a VMC official suggested this might have occurred due to overloading in the truck. Ravat scoffed at the suggestion, knowing that the truck was only carrying a small amount of supplies."The reason for the crater is not known yet.
It will become clear only after the truck is removed," she added..
