TV actress and content creator Trisha Khalid has expressed her confusion over the hate and negativity she receives from other women due to her success. At 29, Trisha recently moved to Nairobi from Mombasa to seek better opportunities. Despite working hard to establish her name, she says many people overlook her efforts, instead attributing her achievements to having a wealthy sponsor.

“Before moving to Nairobi, I used to shop at Kongowea market in Mombasa, which is similar to Gikomba. I would buy second-hand clothes, sell them online, and even go live to sell items as low as Sh800. I also traveled to Uganda for bags and ordered shoes from China to sell.
