Triptii Dimri Recalls Mean Comments By Relatives After Taking Up Acting; 'Not Going To Get Married Now'

Triptii Dimri recently rose to blockbuster fame with the release of Animal. However, the actress revealed that the road to that success was not easy. During a chat on Katrina Kaif's brand Kay Beauty by Katrina's YouTube channel Dimri recalled her pre acting days from back home in Delhi and in Uttarakhand.

She also revealed how her relatives did not approve of her profession and the mean comments they gave her parents. Talking about the reaction of her family she said, "There are people in the society and in my family also who said mean things to my parents. Things like 'Why have you sent your daughter to this profession? She is going to get spoiled; she will hang out with the wrong people, she is going to make wrong choices for herself, no one is going to want to marry her, she is not going to get married now." Dimri also revealed that it made her loose hope, especially when she wasn't getting enough work, "But one thing I knew was that I could not go back to my parents and tell them, 'No, I have not done it'.
