A brave and inspirational "warrior" from Grimsby who inspired thousands of people around the world as he courageously battled a rare form of cancer has sadly died aged 35. Dad-of-two Luke Goodwin documented his journey to viewers across the globe via his YouTube channel, I Will Not Be Defeated , after he was diagnosed with stage four Leiomyosarcoma - a rare type of cancer which makes up just 0.17 percent of all cancers diagnosed each year - in August 2022.

He was given just a year to live and underwent multiple rounds of chemotherapy, defying the 12-month life expectancy. In October last year, Luke was told he had just a few months to live, and defied the oncologist's expectations for a second time.
