Trey Lance's future in the NFL is reliant on a team taking a chance. The 2021 No. 3 pick did not work out with the San Francisco 49ers and currently serves as a third-string quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys.
In Dallas' final preseason game of the year against the Los Angeles Chargers, he got one last chance to show what he could do—and let's just say it was a mixed bag. He went 33-of-49 for 323 yards and a touchdown while adding 90 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries. However, he tossed five interceptions and was sacked three times in the 26-19 loss.
