Trenton Water Works will supply the Bordentowns with drinking water and other support for the next several months, officials announced Monday. The emergency agreement was established to help Bordentown City’s utility maintain water pressure and service while the Burlington County city replaces high-lift pumps damaged by flooding in April at its water-treatment plant, Trenton Water Works said in a statement. Bordentown’s water utility serves nearly 40,000 residents in Bordentown City, Bordentown Township and Fieldsboro.
