NFL star Travis Kelce is taking a big swing at his next business venture. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end has become a huge fan of golf in recent years, taking part in a number of celebrity tournaments. According to a well-placed source, Kelce is now in talks to invest in a series of golf courses in the United States, Caribbean and Europe.

The investment group plans to buy land to build luxurious new golf courses in these three geographic areas. There are also plans to enhance existing courses by modernizing them or developing the surrounding land. Kelce will invest around $8 million into the project, per the source, with the goal to invest more in the coming years.

"Travis is turning into a serious and successful entrepreneur," says one person close to Kelce’s entourage. "And he always has new ideas and is being approached by a lot of people and businessmen to join and invest in different fields, to extend his already very profitable portfolio.

"He got approached not that long ago by a couple of people that own golf courses in many countries around the world, and he is really interested in joining them."
