Travellers evicted from their permanent home in Moses Gate have gone full circle and returned to fields in Breightmet - the first place they went to after being forced out. Around a half-a-dozen caravans are currently parked up on Dome Park, after leaving Little Lever yesterday at teatime. They had been parked up on Suffolk Close Park .

Bolton Council and Greater Manchester Police applied for a closure order of the site in Moses Gate earlier this year. And last month people were ordered to leave the site where some of them had lived their whole lives. (Image: NQ) Some left the site and went to live elsewhere but a large number have vowed to stay in Bolton.

And now the group have returned to the site in Breightmet near the Deepdale Community Centre. In the intervening time they have been to others area in Breightmet, Darcy Lever and Little Lever.
