Learn more Passengers pushing suitcases through an airport (Image: Getty) We’ve all been there, you exit a long flight and have the dreaded operation of watching a baggage carousel go round and round for what feels like hours. There’s nothing worse when you’re tired and want to be on your way.

And, while it’s obvious when you think about it, Ryanair has recently warned passengers that your cases will be hardest to spot if they are black, navy or grey due to their popularity. "Make it easier to spot your checked-in luggage on the carousel, especially if your luggage is black, navy or grey (like 99.9 percent of the population)," Ryanair said.

Buying a totally new case in a bright colour could get expensive, but thankfully there’s a much cheaper solution. You could add a colourful luggage tag or ribbon to the handle ( £6.48 on Amazon ), but if you think that won’t make yours stand out enough then there’s a £35 answer.
