The recently released film Ajayante Randam Moshanam, directed by Jithin Lal, has encountered an unfortunate issue with an online leak. While the movie continues to perform well in theatres, a fake print of the film has surfaced online, raising serious concerns about its security. Director Jithin Lal revealed that the pirated version of the film shows someone watching it on a phone while on a train, rather than in a theatre.

Jithin and producer Listin Stephen took to social media to express their distress over the leak, calling it a significant threat to the film’s delivery process. Actor Tovino Thomas, who stars in the film, also voiced his concerns. He highlighted the suspicious clarity of the leaked visuals, which appeared to be shot without any shake.

Tovino pointed out that achieving such smooth footage would be impossible without cooperation from theatre owners. He mentioned that filming a movie inside a theatre using a handheld phone or camera without a tripod is beyond human ability. He further suggested that this leak could be the result of a planned effort by a specific group.

He urged an investigation into how it happened. Following these events, the Kochi Cyber Police registered a case based on a complaint from Jithin Lal. The case was filed under various sections of the Copyright Act, and authorities confirmed that the pirated print was shared via a Telegram link.

The police are now working to track the source of the leak by analyzing the pirated version. Despit.
