Tuesday, August 13, 2024 The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) showcased a rich array of travel experiences and special offers for Taiwanese visitors at the “Amazing Thailand Travel Fair 2024” held on 10-11 August in Taipei, Taiwan. Mr. Nithee Seeprae, TAT Deputy Governor for Marketing Communications, said “The Amazing Thailand Travel Fair celebrates the newly implemented visa exemption for Taiwanese tourists, while strengthening the friendship between Thailand and Taiwan.

We hope the event will inspire Taiwanese travellers to visit Thailand for our beautiful attractions, diverse cuisines, vibrant festivals, and warm hospitality.” The fair was a collaborative effort between TAT and several key partners including the Thailand Trade and Economic Office – Taipei, the Department of Information and Tourism of Taipei City Government, National Chengchi University, and the Thai Trade Office – Taipei, along with local tour operators and airlines. Designed to evoke the festive spirit of the Loi Krathong Festival, the event was intended to entice Taiwanese tourists to visit Thailand and experience the celebration in November.

The campaign “Amazing Thailand: Your Stories Never End” was also highlighted at the fair, showcasing Thailand’s cultural allure through five engaging activities. These activities featured traditional Thai dances, Muay Thai exhibitions, a Thai Xylophone solo performance by YouTube artist ‘Fino the Ranad’, drag performances by Natalia Pliacam .
